The Soldiers’ Arts Academy CIC is a platform through which serving and ex-serving military personnel and their families can participate in the creative and performing arts, using their skills and experiences to engage audiences.
Stage Productions and Performance
The Soldier’s Arts Academy produces and collaborates on stage productions all over the world including London’s West End, the Globe, theaters in the USA, and Canada - and more. Each production includes involvement by serving and former serving military. Military members receive mentoring and education to support their artistic development.
Film and Television
The Soldier’s Arts Academy facilitates, collaborates, and supports aspirations of serving and former serving members of the military to be involved in film and television. Military members have produced their own documentaries, been showcased in television shows like The Crown and Coronation Street and in major films like Kingsman.
Continuing Education and Workshops
The Soldier’s Arts Academy hosts classes, readings, and workshops to train serving and former serving military in theatre, dance, comedy, film, scriptwriting, poetry, photography and more.

The SAA was delighted to sign the Armed Forces Covenant in the presence of the Right Honourable Tobias Ellwood MP and to receive the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
